Attendance and Tardy Procedures
Absence & Tardy
24-hour Attendance Line: 650-620-2812
If your child will be absent or late to school, call the 24-hour attendance/tardy line at 650-620-2812 and leave the following information:
Student’s first and last name
Teacher’s name/room
Your name and relationship to the child
Reason for absence/tardiness:
If absent, advise if the absence will be for more than one day
If tardy, include approximate arrival time at school
Absent
If you know in advance that your child will be absent, please send a note to child’s teacher and the office. Without this, absences must be called in daily.
Tardy
If your child arrives:
Between 8:25am and 8:30am, your child should report directly to the classroom, and the teacher will note the tardy arrival.
After 8:30am, your child must report to the office for a pink tardy slip before going to class. If your child is going to be later than 8:30am, a call to the Attendance Line is required (see above).
Sick Days
Sick Day Procedure
Call in absences every day and leave the following information:
Your name and relationship to the child
Student's first and last name
Room #/Teacher's name
Reason for the absence or tardiness
