Fox School Site Council
Are you interested in representing parents' and kids' interests at Fox School? Would you like to participate in developing student achievement plans? Are you interested in helping with communications among parents, teachers, and staff?
Please consider representing parents and children at Fox School by joining the Fox School Site Council. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the school and help contribute to its continued academic success.
The Fox School Site Council consists of the principal, selected teachers, staff members, and parents. The Council is responsible for overseeing certain budget decisions and reviewing academic programs.
The Fox Site Council addresses many important topics, including:
Single Plan for Student Achievement (the basic roadmap for academic improvement for the school)
Instructional issues and academic programs, making recommendations for improvements
Annual review and approval of SIP and other school budgets
STAR test preparation and analysis of results
Communications between parents, staff, and teachers
Overall organizational productivity and effectiveness
Special Education Program
School and district budget decisions
Language Arts curriculum and materials
Math program/testing
Faculty Peer Coaching
Reading Intervention Program
Writer's Workshop Program
