PTA Board Bios

Cynthia Zhang, President

Cynthia and her husband Mike moved to Belmont in 2014 and have 3 daughters (5th grade, 2nd grade and TK).  This is Cynthia’s seventh year as a Fox parent and second year as PTA President.  In her years at Fox she has served as a Room Parent every year, Auditor on the Board for two years, and led and volunteered with several committees including Science Fair, Incoming TK/K/New Families Welcome Team, Yearbook and more.  

In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys running, baking, being outdoors, volunteering and spending time with her family and friends.  Professionally Cynthia has worked in the healthcare industry in a variety of marketing and strategy roles.  More recently, she has taken a break to take care of her family and volunteer.  

Elva Huang, VP PTA Council

This is Elva's first year serving as the Fox PTA Council Representative. She attends the BRSSD’s monthly meetings to represent Fox in discussing topics such as parent education, fundraising, PTA special events, etc.

Albee Zhou, VP Ways and Means

This is Albee's first year as the VP of Ways and Means where she helps to plan and organize fundraising and events such as ECC, Fox Field Day, Book Fair and any district wide campaigns.  

Kristin Stura, VP SchoolForce

This is Kristin’s fifth year serving on the PTA Board and first year as VP SchoolForce. She enjoys volunteering at Fox in the classroom and on field trips. Kristin was born and raised in the Bay Area. She lives in Belmont with her husband. They have 2 daughters (4th grade at Fox and 6th grade at Ralston). Both are active in local sports and love being outdoors. In her spare time, Kristin loves to do yoga, travel, and spend time with her family. Professionally, Kristin works as an International Account Executive at FedEx.

Allegra Newman, Secretary

This is Allegra’s seventh year as a Fox parent.  This is her first year as Secretary after representing Fox as both VP PTA Council and VP SchoolForce. 

 She is enjoys being involved in important decisions affecting our kids’ education. Allegra and her family moved to Belmont in January 2018, but her and her husband have been in the Bay Area for over 16 years. They have a girl in 3rd grade at Fox and boy in 6th grade at Ralston.  Their extended family lives in the Midwest (Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan).

Professionally, Allegra is a Speech-Language Pathologist and specializes in working with adult patients. However, during COVID, she decided to step away from work for a while and is now spending more time volunteering for school-related activities and being with her family. 

Megan Paul, Financial Secretary

This is Megan’s eight year as as Fox parent and 3rd year serving on the PTA Board.  She is excited to be back again this year to help make Fox the best place for our children to learn & grow.  Megan has previously been active on the Board as Secretary and in the Community Building Committee, along with attending field trips and volunteering in the classroom.  Megan is a Bay Area native, growing up here on the Peninsula. She and her husband have lived in Belmont for 12 years and have two boys - a 3rd grader at Fox and 7th grader at Ralston.

In her spare time, she loves staying active with her boys, watching them play sports, going to the Bar Method, and spending time with family and friends.  Professionally, Megan spends her time caring for pregant patietns working as a nurse and Director of an OB/GYN & Perinatal Medicine Specialities Clinic at UCSF. 

Shraddha Gupta, Auditor

This is Shraddha’s second year serving on the PTA board. In her role as an Auditor she is responsible for verifying all expenses.  Shraddha and her husband have been living in Belmont since 2014. They have a boy in 1st and a girl in 3rd grade. In her spare time, Shraddha loves staying active and enjoys hiking, yoga and spending time with her family and friends. 

Denae Bolghand, Communications

This is Denae’s forth year as a Fox parent and is also her forth year on the Fox PTA Board. She and her husband have lived in San Carlos for sevent years, and before that, they lived in Belmont for five years. Denae has two young boys: Leo (8 years old), who is in 3rd grade and Wyatt ( years old), who is in K. She loves giving back to her community in any way and is very active as Room Parent, Foxtravaganza Group Leader and more. In her spare time, she and her family love to do any outdoor activity from skiing to boating, bike riding to hiking, and just relaxing at the beach.  Professionally, Denae has taken this time in her life to stay at home and focus on her family. 

Kulaya Jirasut, Parliamentarian

Kulaya is in her second year serving as a Parliamentarian. This role primarily serves as the President's advisor on parliamentary processes and the PTA bylaws to  enable the Board to execute decisions made by the PTA members. 

Jennifer O'Mahony, Historian 

This is Jen’s first year as Historian and forth year on the board (after serving both as Membership Chair and Financial Secretary). She has been particularly drawn to the close-knit Fox community and has enjoyed supporting the school in various volunteering capacities. Jen moved from Tewksbury, MA to the Bay Area in 1999 and has lived in San Mateo with her husband for over 14 years. Their daughters, Judy and Helen, are in 6th grade at Ralston and their son, Donogh, is in 3rd grade. They enjoy hiking and picnicking on all of the amazing local trails, camping, and cooking with friends. They are also often found on weekends at Fox flying kites, scootering, and hanging from the monkey bars (kids only). Professionally, Jen works as a Project Manager at Genentech.

Anubha Bhardwaj, Membership Chair

This is Anubha’s eighth year as Fox parent and third year serving on the PTA board.  She loves volunteering in the classroom. She and her husband Dipesh moved to Belmont 9 years ago.They have 1 son at Fox (2nd grade) and 1 son at Ralston (7th grade). As a family, they enjoy biking, hiking, and travelling. In her spare time, Anubha enjoys painting/sketching and music.  Professionally, Anubha works as Technical Program Manager/QA Manager driving teams to deliver quality software programs on time.
