Principal's Message:

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! My name is Stephanie Scala, and I am incredibly honored and excited to join the Fox Elementary community as your principal.

Education is a true passion of mine that has been cultivated and grown over the last 12 years in the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District, serving as a classroom teacher and assistant principal. Throughout my career, one belief has remained at the heart of everything I do: strong relationships create strong schools. When students feel safe, known, and valued, they are empowered to take risks, embrace challenges, and discover their full potential.

At Fox, I am committed to fostering a school culture where every child feels a true sense of belonging and every family knows they are an important part of our community. We will celebrate each student's unique strengths while providing engaging, meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Together, we will continue to foster an environment where students are challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and encouraged to grow into kind, confident, and compassionate leaders.

I also believe that schools are strongest when families and educators work as partners. Open communication, trust, and collaboration allow us to provide the very best experience for every child. My door is always open, and I welcome your ideas, questions, celebrations, and feedback. I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to make this an exceptional year for our students!
