From Mr. Pappas, Fox Principal on Aug. 16

Good afternoon Fox Families,

As the beginning of the school year approaches we are all getting excited to get started. While you may be feeling a little anxious right now don't worry, it's completely normal for this time of the year. Here is some information to help get you started in the right direction, so please read it over and let us know if you have any questions.

  • Our student information update process is facilitated by InfoSnap, an online registration tool that creates new emergency contact cards for each student each year. Be sure that the information is up to date, as this is what we will use in the event of an emergency.  As soon as possible, please follow the instructions emailed to you to update your child's information. In addition, this process will allow you to register with and donate to PTA and SchoolForce. We ask that you complete this process by this Sunday night.  Specifically, you will need to complete this process by 11:59pm on August 20th to receive your student's class assignment by email before the start of school. If you don't have access to a computer, you can use a smartphone or tablet, or you are welcome to come to the District Office to complete the process.

  • Our Back-to-School Night for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten parents will be on Monday August 21 in the Middle Room at 6pm.  You will then transition to your child’s teacher/classroom for orientation and class information at 6:30 pm-7:00 pm.  This is a parent only event, however child care will be provided for those who need it. Simply report to the library to drop off your child before going to the Middle Room for the general assembly.

  • Our Back-to-School Night for grades 1-5 will take place on Thursday August 24.  Grades 1-3 will go directly to your child’s classroom from 6:30-7 PM for orientation and then meet in the Middle Room 7-7:15 PM for general assembly and Principal's Message.  Grades 4 & 5 will start in the Middle Room at 7:00 PM for general assembly, and then head  to your child’s classroom for orientation from 7:15-7:45.  This is a parent only event however child care will be provided by Curiosity Corner for a cost of $15 cash. Care will be provided from 6:15-8:15pm. Please go to  to register.

I hope this information is helpful and I look forward to seeing all of you next week. As always I thank you for your support of Fox Elementary.

Mike Pappas-Principal

From Dr. Milliken's Superintendant Update of May 18, 2017

Back-To-School Student Information Update and Classroom Assignments

This upcoming school year we will continue to use InfoSnap to facilitate our yearly student information update.  On Saturday, August 5, 2017, parents and guardians will receive one email per student containing a unique code that will be used online to update student and contact information.  Be sure to complete the process as this updated contact information is what we will use in the event of an emergency.  Accommodations will be available in the month of August for those without access to a computer.

Student classroom and teacher assignments will be available online on Sunday, August 20, 2017 for those that have completed the student information update process.  More details will be provided in the August 5 email.
