Recycling Fridays
Who: Every child, family and staff member at Fox.
When: Every Friday morning between 8:15 and 8:45 am near the dumpsters and Kindergarten classes.
What:
- Aluminum cans
- Plastic water, juice and soda bottles with lids or caps. (PETE #1 and HDPE #2) No milk jugs. Must have CA redemption value!
- Used personal printer cartridges.
Please separate cans from bottles. Rinse, remove lids and crush if possible. No glass! Ask neighbors if you can have their cans and bottles and bring those too.
Why: To raise money for playground equipment and special events for our kids. It helps our environments and we educate out kids.
Last year, we raised over $4,500. We create a school garden for students and staff. Previously, we've purchased playground equipment, built a new handball wall and purchased materials for our Fox mural. Let's keep our school beautiful, keep our kids outfitted and help the environment at the same time.
