Lunch Program Distribution

Lunch Program Distribution: Earn a lunch credit for your child each time you help distribute lunchs at school. The vendor, ChoiceLunch, delivers everything to the school and volunteers lay it out for kids to pick up. Afterwards the boxes are stacked up for ChoiceLunch to pick up. No experience necessary, no cooking involved. Easy and fun!


Suggested Commitment: Once a week or every other week, 11:30-12:30

Spirit Day Coordinator

Spirit Day Coordinator: 

We are looking for a parent to coordinate School Spirit Days on Campus. The position involves coordinating the dates of the events with administrators in the office, submitting notice to the school newsletter and PTA Communications Liaison, and being on campus the morning of Spirit Day to photograph the students and post photos of the event and forwarding them to the Yearbook Coordinator.


Approximate Time Commitment:

Fox typically hosts four school spirit days over the course of the school year.  Each spirit day would involve approximately 1-2 hours of time to coordinate, attend, photograph, and post.

Tutoring: Volunteers help Fox children who are performing below grade level by providing extra support in reading, writing and mathematics. The personal satisfaction of helping a struggling student gain confidence and excel is the greatest reward of all! Grandparents, aunts, uncles and other community members are welcome to volunteer as well. THERE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ENOUGH TUTORS to MEET THE NEED


Approximate Time Commitment:

Tutoring: 30 minutes, twice a week or 60 minutes once a week, during school hours. Scheduled according to your availability.

Yard Duty Volunteers

Yard Duty Volunteers: We are seeking Yard Duty Volunteers to help supervise children during lunch/recess and allow for a larger area of the play field to be open during recess. Assistance will be needed with opening lunches, intervening during disputes or inappropriate behavior, and tending to any injuries. Help our children have fun and stay safe during lunchtime!


Suggested Commitment:

Once or twice a week, 12:00-12:45 (except minimum days)

Room Parents

Open for 2017-18 School Year


Room Parent: Volunteers assist with communication between the teacher, class parents, and the PTA including establishing a class roster and share site. S/he also assists the teacher with field trip coordination, party arranging, and volunteer recruitment. Ideal person is a multi-tasker who can inspire participation and delegate to other parents (as you cannot do it all!). Great opportunity to be significantly involved in your child’s class.


Suggested Commitment: Varies and depends on the needs of the class/teacher. Beginning of the year also requires attendance at two meetings in first two weeks of school to review room parent responsibilities, school policies and procedures and compliance.
