Traffic Safety

The safety of each Fox student is a community responsibility. Remember that your child is one of over 300 students who need to be dropped off or picked up safely each day. Try to be patient and supportive at all times. Please use caution at all times and adhere to the following rules.

Always ...
  • Load and unload students from the white curb only.
  • Pull all the way over to the white curb and stop completely, then stay in your car. You should not leave your car to kiss your child, pack their belongings or walk them to class.
  • Drive slowly (5 miles per hour) and safely.
  • Be patient with other drivers.
  • Be on time. The first bell rings at 8:25 am.
  • Use the crosswalk.
  • Think about the safety of other kids.

Never ...
  • Have student load or unload in the middle of the street.
  • Talk on your cell phone.
  • Make a u-turn.
  • Drop off students before 8:00 am.
  • Leave your car at the curb unattended.
  • Park in a STAFF space before 8:15 am.
  • Park in a white zone. It is for drop-offs and pick-ups only.
  • Park in the yellow zone. It is for buses only.
  • Walk across traffic in the parking lot.
