Volunteering at Fox: Getting Started

We are grateful for your interest in volunteering at Fox.  We welcome all parents, grandparents, and guardians into our classrooms and school.  The volunteer clearance process has recently been changed by the school district.

 

Start your volunteer authorization process by completing the School District's required Volunteer Form by clicking on the Formstack link below (STEP ONE). This form indicates to the district your interest in volunteering.  Next, visit the district webpage to determine the level of clearance you are seeking - Clearance Level is determined by the type of volunteer work you will be doing.  Print the required paperwork from the district webpage, and submit the completed forms to the school office.

 

1.)  STEP ONE - Complete District Volunteer Form:

2.) STEP TWO - Determine Which Level of Clearance you Require (Level I, II, or III)

Fox Elementary Middle Room Grades K-5
Your student will investigate, experiment, and problem solve, as they explore our science festivals' 10-12 tabletop stations, which feature mobile exhibits designed by the Lawrence Hall of Science. As "science wizards," students explore the almost magical properties of matter and energy, participate in high-voltage and subzero experiments, and figure out how things really work in the fun-, fact-, and phenomenon-filled world of physics.

2018-19 School enrollment

For students presently in Fox Grade 5 your registration information will be provided by your teacher with coordination from our middle schools. Be sure you read information on the website regarding any parent meetings and orientation. The 2018-19 Middle School Choice Form distributed to grade 5 students is for students at Fox who prefer to go to Nesbit or Sandpiper next year. You need not respond if your preference is to go to Ralston.

Please share this information with your neighbors and friends who do not presently attend Fox!

2018-2019 School Supply Donations

Once again we are asking each returning family to donate $50 per child to the Fox school supply fund. We will provide each teacher the supplies needed to best support the programs and activities for each individual classroom. This contribution will help with supplies for the 2018-19 school year.

Here is why this is a win-win:

  • No parent trips to the local supply store at the beginning of the year
  • Each teacher will have his or her unique classroom supply needs met
  • Fox has access to school supply vendors, allowing us to purchase in bulk at a significant discount

This $50 is completely voluntary. Please help us by contributing.

Additionally, we welcome contributions above that amount to support families who are not able to participate.

This year you may pay by cash, check or through Paypal. 

If paying by cash or check, please fill out a form in the office or provided by the teacher and return your donation to your teacher or the front office by Friday, May 4, 2018.  Please make checks payable to "Fox School Supplies Donation Fund". 

If paying through Pay Pal please submit payment to benfoxpaypal@gmail.com

Jim will be at the flag pole to help you drop off your CA-CRV recyclables - including plastic water and soda bottles, glass beer bottles, and aluminum beverage cans.

 

Each school year we raise thousands of dollars to support PTA programs at Fox!

Hot Lunch Helpers Needed!


 

Fox school needs your help to distribute hotlunch to our students this school year!  

 

Lunch is distributed from 11:30-12:45 pm on regular days and 9:30-10:30 am on minimum days (including Wednesdays). 

Please sign up to help out using the links below.  Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly commitments are helpful.  But we appreciate you stepping in the help on your single open days, as well.
