Let's support the kids 100%

Many staff positions and learning materials for the 2009-10 school year are not yet funded. Last year, over 70% of Fox families donated to our School Force Education Foundation. Currently, only 62% of families have donated.

Our goal this year is 100% participation.
Give whatever amount you can afford knowing that every single dollar makes a difference. Consider making monthly contributions of $100, $50 or even $10.

Strength lies in the donors.
Consider that the winning presidential candidate raised more campaign funds than any other candidate in history with record-breaking number of donors. Over 50% of the funds came from those giving $200 or less - many in increments of $5, $20 or $50.

Your contribution - no matter what the size - helps your child have a better educational experience at Fox and later at Ralston Middle School.

School Supplies

Get those orders in to avoid the August rush!



Why are we doing this? State education funds have been drastically reduced, and 40% of our District’s discretionary funds have been slashed. We are asking that families purchase their school supplies to offset this major cut. This way, Fox School administration can effectively spend its budget on learning materials, rather than on paper, tissue, crayons, and other basic supplies.

Each supply kit has been approved by the teachers, will be delivered to the school, and placed on your child’s desk for the first day.

 If you have not yet ordered, go to www.innisbrook.com, select “Buy School Supplies,” and enter Fox ID 113795. 

If you decide not to purchase school supplies with Innisbrook, our contracted vendor, please purchase the supplies listed before the first day of school.

Back to School Registration: Easy as 1-2-3

The first day of school will be on Wednesday, August 26 from 8:25 a.m. until 12:20 p.m. Kindergarten students will only attend school for one hour.

1. New students, click here to pre-register your students using our secure database


2. Pick up Registration Packets
   

   The Fox School PTA will be on campus to pass out 2009-2010 Registration Packets

   • Thursday, August 20 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.
   • Friday, August 21 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

   Each family needs a registration packet. Please make arrangements for you or a friend to pick up during these times. For those of you returning to Fox, you will receive forms already completed with your families information. You will only need to make modifications.

3. Return the completed Registration Packet at Back-to-School Registration on Tuesday, August 25
   
   
   • Last names beginning with A-L from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
   • Last names beginning with M-Z from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

You will be able to purchase milk, yearbooks and school apparel. You will also turn in the forms that are necessary for your child to attend Fox School such as emergency information, a signed Parent's Rights form, a signed Photo agreement and a Technology agreement.

Summer Reading Program

It's easy to win a special prize when you come back to school in August; all you have to do is read 5 books from the Summer Reading List for your grade. You can also read books of your choosing, but at least two must be chapter books. Record them on the Reading Log and make sure your parents sign it. Turn your reading log in during August or September and you will receive a special prize!

All of the books on the list should be at one of your local public libraries. Starred books are Newbery winners.
