Fox Earns Recognition

Fox School has been named to the 2009 Honor Roll by the California Business for Education Excellence (CBEE) The 2009 Honor Roll includes 1,304 California public elementary, middle and high schools that have been recognized by California’s business community for having demonstrated consistent high student academic achievement and have made significant progress toward closing achievement gaps among all their students.

Principal's Bulletin on School Safety

Fox Elementary School is part of the Safe Schools Program which is facilitated by the Belmont Police Department. Police and school representatives meet monthly to discuss safety ideas and share best practices. Participants also work together to create a comprehensive Emergency/Disaster Plan. These essential plans are reviewed by the Belmont Police and updated annually. Scenarios covered in the plan include, but are not limited, to lockdown procedures, long term supervision and eventually, a school-wide evacuation. It's Almost Fiesta Time

1. START TIME IS NOW 6:30. We will be starting cocktails and registration at 6:30 p.m. The silent auction will be moving quickly, so get there on time. There's still room for more people. Be part of this community effort to make our school the best it can be!


2. BRING YOUR OWN WINE Bring us your wine donations and we'll place it on your table, a friend's table, or the teacher's table on the night of the fiesta. Place in the Fiesta Box with your name and write "TABLE WINE" with any instructions for placement. We're looking for 2 bottles per table.


3. GRAB BAGS! 1:54 CHANCE OF WINNING THE GRAND PRIZE. Here's how it works...Pick a card out of a deck of 52 cards available + jokers. This card gives you the chance to select a grab bag on the night of the event. Everyone wins something...you could win an iPod shuffle, exotic olive oils, netflix cards, t-shirts, and more. Then after dinner, the auctioneer will play a game of elimination with the cardholders. 4. RAFFLE TICKETS — DON'T SLOW DOWN...THE KIDS WANT TO SEE THE MOHAWK! Mr. Marchetti agreed to dye his hair purple and Mr. Uskert agreed shave his head into a purple mohawk because they think we might not hit the goal. WE CAN DO IT! 5. CHILDCARE — NEED 10 MORE KIDS TO SECURE CONTRACT We need 10 more kids to sign up or we have to pull the plug on the sitting. The kids will enjoy video games, the basketball court, movies, and more! Email me today if you are going to use the Pac Club Babysitting. Fees for the entire evening: 1 kid $38 / 2 kids (siblings) $58 / 3 kids (siblings) $87.

2010-2011 School Registration

Sibling registration begins February 22nd and general registration will begin March 1, 2010. This will include the siblings of 5th graders.

Kindergarten Classroom Visits:
Parents considering registering their children in the 2010-2011 kindergarten classes are invited to visit the classrooms. More information regarding registration will be given. Adults only, please no children.

Please download the registration information before attending the meeting. Parents registering siblings are asked to attend the February 10th meeting.
