• Monday, May 7 - Chess Club in the library.
  • K - 1st grade: 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
  • 2nd - 5th grade: 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. (7-year-olds and up)
• Wednesday, May 9 - Early dismissal. 3:30-4:30 Music Mentors for enrolled 4-5 graders
• Friday, May 11 - Science Fair form due. See below for details.  Recycling before school near the trash bins.

2012 Fox Science Fair

• Friday May 11th - Entry form is due (Included on form above).
• Wednesday May 23rd - Science Fair Exhibition
  • 4:00-6:00 PM - Set up projects in the middle room
  • 6:00-7:30PM – Viewing/judging of projects
  • 7:30-8:00 PM – Special prizes awarded to top three projects from each grade. All participants will receive a small prize and a certificate

Parents & Guardians

• Traffic Safety: Remember that your child is one of over 450 students who need to be dropped off or picked up safely each day. Be cautious and adhere to the following rules.
  
• Parent Education Workshops: The School Site Council and Fox Staff would like to conduct two workshops that will assist parents and promote academic success. We will use your feedback to help us decide which workshops or courses to offer.
  • A hard copy of the survey will be coming home with your child on Thursday, 1/19.

  • Informational Meetings will be on January 12 and 24, no children.
  • Sibling registration at Fox is February 6-10; all others to register at either Ralston or the District Office.

Volunteers Needed!

Quiet Zone

We are looking for volunteers Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri (12:15 - 12:45) to work in the Quiet Zone every other week when the library is not open. The children really look forward to going into the Quiet Zone to read, draw, play games, etc. If you are willing to help, please email me at lkntaylor@yahoo.com.

Yard Duty

Our children need to be supervised on the play ground. We need help as Mr. Marchetti cannot do all three playgrounds by himself. We need help M/T/TH/F from 12-12:45. If you are willing to help, please email Noemi: ndelrosario3@comcast.net
