Thanks for a great Fiesta!
We can all be proud to be part of the Fox School Community. You have proven that you are committed to providing the best possible education for the children even in the face to tight economic times. We broke some records this year. With the help of many, many people within our community and connected to our community...
the Fox Fiesta Island Getaway raised over $60,000 NET.
(The cash raffle raised $7,200. The Pham family added a 10% bonus to that figure. The Fund-A-Need raised close to $14,000)
This wasn't the contributions of a few big donors that made this happen. The reason for our success is that more people than ever before helped out in some way-- whether it was buying a raffle ticket or grab bag, donating wine or an auction item, sponsoring a teacher, giving the gift of time, buying in the Early Online Sales or at the Silent and Live Auctions. This is truly a COMMUNITY accomplishment.
And the fun doesn't end. As promised, since we sold over $5,000 in raffle tickets, Mr. Uskert will be shaving his head at the Monday morning meeting on March 15th. Mr. Marchetti, Ms. Loring, Ms. Kaa, Mr. Whiteman, and Ms. Hall will also be sporting purple hair!
Special thanks to our set up an check out team: Lisa and Tyler Stavros, the Pagan family, Cynthia Ho, Alka Kanaya, Paige Perez, Jacqueline Fitzgerald, Yu Hogan, Yvonne Chan, Kim Reininger-House, Jeff Marshall, Andrew Pham, Heddie Turudu, Rita Yon-Turk, and Victor Lem. Also thank you so much to Mimi Choi and Menchie Palarca for doing such a spectacular job wrapping up all the beautiful baskets!
